This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +5 more states.
• Drive profitable growth within the food sector by collaborating with manufacturers to create, validate, and deliver integrated capital equipment solutions.
• Expand the North American customer base in the food market.
• Engage with clients, lead the sales team (both internal and external) to maintain relationships, negotiate, and finalize deals.
• Develop and execute market-driven strategies to meet revenue targets and align with the company’s mission.
• Serve as the primary contact for accounts in the food market.
• Assist in the creation of sales/marketing operating budgets.
• Contribute to sales forecasting efforts and establish performance objectives in line with management goals.
• Represent the company at trade shows and association meetings to promote our organization and offerings.
• Over 7 years of experience in B2B capital equipment sales and integration within the food market.
• Proven leadership capabilities as a sales/business development executive in the food processing, packaging, or manufacturing sectors.
• Established track record of fostering business and customer relationships.
• High emotional intelligence and adaptability.
• Accountability and ownership mindset.
• Strong pricing strategy and margin management skills.
• Experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and utilizing CRM tools.
• Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders (plant, engineering, procurement, executives).
• Excellent communication and contract negotiation skills.
• Proven history of increasing revenues to meet targets and company objectives.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for system concept design.
• Solid understanding of justification (ROI, payback, throughput improvement).
• Extensive travel across North America will be necessary to achieve a target of in-person customer visits and sales objectives.
