This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Take ownership and expand a portfolio of business among hyperscalers, neocloud/inference-as-a-service providers, enterprises, and frontier model vendors in the United States.
β’ Oversee intricate, technical sales processes that involve infrastructure engineering, procurement, capacity planning, and engagement with executive stakeholders.
β’ Manage relationships with direct buyers, OEM/ODM partners, and navigate channel or supplier qualification procedures.
β’ Convert technical differentiators, such as power ceiling, performance-per-watt, and TCO, into profitable commercial results.
β’ Identify and secure capacity commitments and design-in opportunities from the technical assessment phase through to deployment.
β’ Develop and maintain a robust pipeline, deliver accurate forecasts, and track progress using Salesforce.
β’ Represent Axelera AI at industry conferences, customer meetings, and technical evaluations.
β’ Collaborate with product development, field applications engineering, and marketing teams to create go-to-market strategies for new silicon launches.
β’ Formulate, negotiate, and manage contract processes through to closure with legal and finance teams.
β’ Build a credible, predictable pipeline leveraging personal networks.
β’ Achieve at least one major capacity commitment or design-in within the first year.
β’ Establish a presence at 2β3 major industry events in the first year.
β’ 10β15+ years of experience in semiconductor or compute infrastructure sales.
β’ Proven success in selling to hyperscalers, neoclouds, enterprises, and/or frontier AI laboratories.
β’ Proficient in navigating layered routes to market, which include relationships with direct buyers, OEM/ODM system builders, and channel qualification processes.
β’ Established connections with infrastructure, procurement, or technical buyers at US hyperscalers, neoclouds, or frontier model vendors.
β’ Experience in selling technical products that involve lengthy, capacity-driven sales cycles.
β’ Ideally, experience with AI/ML accelerators, GPUs, custom silicon, or similar infrastructure.
β’ Previous experience at a semiconductor chip company or within hyperscalers, neoclouds, enterprises, or frontier labs.
β’ Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment with limited internal resources.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Capability to convey technical concepts to both engineering and executive audiences.
β’ Significant use of AI skills and technologies to enhance efficiency.
β’ Willingness to travel frequently for customer interactions and industry events.
β’ Ability to provide a resume in English.
