This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.
• Create and implement a holistic sales education framework for a sizable and intricate medical device sales team.
• Lead a team of education specialists to improve selling capabilities, devise sales processes, and promote educational initiatives throughout the Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices division.
• Design and carry out a comprehensive commercial education strategy in collaboration with senior sales leaders.
• Reduce the time it takes for new hires to achieve readiness, boost representative performance, enhance sales skills, and monitor revenue impact.
• Establish systems to assess educational investments and determine the effectiveness of sales processes and messaging initiatives.
• Oversee complex, cross-portfolio sales skill development.
• Mentor, coach, and develop educational professionals.
• Work in partnership with regional managers, ZVPs, marketing executives, medical education teams, and sales operations.
• Handle AOP planning, budgeting, and budget monitoring with engagement from executive-level stakeholders.
• Track and report results to enhance enterprise-level decision-making.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Travel to priority and key events as required.
• Over 10 years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, and/or medical device education.
• A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role involving the development of personnel.
• Experience in managing individual educational events and developing comprehensive curricula for complex selling scenarios.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Demonstrated experience in functional budget management.
• Ability to assess and communicate the business impact of education through clear KPIs.
• Capable of building strategy and curriculum from the ground up.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a healthcare-related discipline.
• Fluency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is advantageous.
• Experience in medical device sales is a plus.
• Emotionally intelligent leadership and executive presence.
• Strong collaboration skills across different Business Units.
• In-depth operational knowledge of sales, sales processes, and education.
• Ability to offer strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to key events as necessary.
