• You will take charge of the entire sales process — including inbound, outbound, partnerships, and B2B — and work closely with Kelly, our founder, to develop the go-to-market strategy for our services and software products.
• This position combines both hands-on and leadership responsibilities. You will engage in prospect calls and secure business while also strategizing, creating systems, and overseeing our current sales strategist.
• You will absorb much of the daily selling and business development responsibilities that have been handled by Kelly until now, allowing her to concentrate on company strategy, thought leadership, and product development.
• Manage the sales pipeline and enhance prospect conversion.
• Oversee the inbound lead pipeline, which includes managing the hello@ inbox.
• Lead outbound prospecting at scale in close collaboration with the Marketing team.
• Manage the comprehensive prospect pipeline — both inbound and outbound — through nurturing, informational calls, proposals, and closures.
• Conduct calls with potential clients and strategic partners.
• Oversee Sage Haus's full range of partnerships and affiliates — including creator/influencer partners, brand partners, wealth-management referral channels, and community partners.
• Negotiate partner agreements, sponsorship deals, and co-branded campaigns.
• Manage the affiliate workflow, including tracking, commissions, payouts, and partner enablement.
• Establish a repeatable partnerships strategy as a key growth channel.
• Collaborate with Kelly on the sponsorship budget and prioritize high-value sponsors and vendors at community events and conferences.
• Supervise our Sales Strategist through weekly one-on-ones, deal coaching, and quota management.
• Hire and expand the sales function as we grow, creating standard operating procedures for the sales organization.
• Collaborate with our Chief of Staff on decisions regarding refund and cancellation policies.
• Manage metrics and data related to sales funnel conversions, tracking from marketing funnel to sales and overall conversion and success rates throughout the funnel.
• Work closely with marketing to ensure we meet sales targets through top-of-funnel metrics.
• Develop Sage Haus's B2B sales strategy from the ground up — identifying the ideal customer profile, offer, pricing, and strategy — to expand into employer-paid benefits and partnerships with businesses.
• Collaborate closely with Kelly on the go-to-market sales strategy for the Home Systems App, set to launch in Q3 2026.
• Work with leadership and operations to implement a customer engagement platform for client communications and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with our operations team on the hiring services aspect to ensure a smooth transition of candidates from sales to client delivery.
• Partner with marketing on inbound campaigns, top-of-funnel content, and lead generation.
• Experience in building a sales function from scratch — including processes, systems, and team dynamics — in a company where the founder previously managed all sales activities.
• Ability to sell with warmth and integrity, converting relationships into a pipeline without making it feel transactional.
• Experience in managing partnerships and affiliate programs as a primary growth channel.
• Proven track record of closing business while also managing a quota-carrying representative, with the ability to seamlessly switch between the two roles in a single day.
• Strong affinity for metrics — pipeline calculations, conversion rates, close rates, and cohort behavior — and using data for coaching rather than just reporting.
• Comfort with early-stage ambiguity: capable of building, deconstructing, and reconstructing systems as we scale.
• Excellent writing skills (as we prioritize warm, thoughtful written communication) and strong listening skills during calls.
• A genuine interest in the modern family and the mission of Sage Haus in the home sector.
• Previous titles of Director or VP are not a prerequisite. If you have been a top-performing Account Executive or sales lead in an early-stage company and are ready to take on a founding sales leadership role, we encourage you to apply.
