This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work closely with the VP of Sales and other senior executives to define and implement regional sales objectives.
• Oversee Account Managers to optimize sales revenue and achieve or surpass corporate targets.
• Provide support to Account Managers in enhancing their sales techniques.
• Formulate strategies that promote both short-term and long-term growth.
• Train the sales team through presentations, seminars, and regular meetings.
• Analyze regional expenses and suggest areas for improvement.
• Contribute valuable regional sales insights and recommendations to strategic planning efforts.
• Prepare and finalize action plans, budgets, forecasts, and necessary corrective measures.
• Set sales objectives, plans, and quotas for designated territories.
• Expand and maintain the customer base by assisting sales representatives and fostering relationships with key clients.
• Discover new customer and product opportunities while keeping track of consumer trends and competitor activities.
• Execute, monitor, and assess trade promotions and expenditures.
• Enhance job knowledge through educational resources, professional literature, and networking.
• Report to and maintain a close working relationship with the VP of Sales.
• Perform related responsibilities as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales position.
• Demonstrated management capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in sales practices.
• Proficient in measuring and analyzing key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
• Ability to understand and teach the utilization of technology.
• Capacity to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and motivational skills.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with a problem-solving mindset.
• Tenacious, determined, and results-oriented approach.
• Proficient in presenting and influencing key stakeholders across all organizational levels, including executive management.
• Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), MS Office, and Google Docs, Sheets, etc.
• Proven experience in delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer demands.
• Ability to manage multiple account management projects while ensuring attention to detail.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient channel management skills.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% within the region, including occasional overnight stays.
