This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Oversee HEI’s LEAD Program, ensuring hotels achieve closure rates.
• Manage the Group LEAD process to implement the Group and Events strategy, surpassing transactional and revenue objectives.
• Conduct daily sales data analysis to guarantee compliance with processes and accountability.
• Approve revenue and activity targets for properties as well as incentive plans.
• Enhance Group and Catering outcomes through sales activities, funnel management, conversions, and sales manager effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Director of Business Travel to secure, activate, and reactivate Business Travel accounts.
• Work alongside the enterprise Rapid Response Lead Team to oversee LEAD flow on an hourly basis.
• Utilize HEI Corporate resources effectively, including VAW, HSR, CVENT, and Knowland.
• Partner with the Campaigns and Promotions team to explore email marketing opportunities using Constant Contact.
• Communicate and manage funnel owner requests with the HEI Campaigns and Marketing Group.
• Hold teams accountable to HEI's performance benchmarks.
• Collaborate with property EC teams to implement corporate sales initiatives.
• Delegate accountability, authority, and resources while monitoring execution.
• Verify daily, weekly, and monthly sales cycles alongside corporate-defined RDOS rhythms.
• Analyze market performance and opportunities for segmentation and the deployment of hotel sales utilizing Travelclick, CVENT, Knowland, STR, SSA, and similar systems.
• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality sector.
• Experience with multiple brands and markets is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with CMS and brand sales platforms, including CI/TY, Delphi, Travelclick, CVENT, Knowland, Opera, and PMS.
• Knowledge of Delphi Fdc and Marriott CI is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of hotel sales, marketing, and revenue management.
• Advanced capabilities in direct sales processes, B2C, revenue management methodologies, eCommerce strategies, and brand resources.
• Strong leadership skills, strategic sales planning, data analysis and interpretation, multitasking, organization, and communication abilities.
• Capacity to manage team members to enhance performance while supporting Talent Acquisition and development through the HEI platform.
• Comfortable engaging with owners, brands, and customers to communicate the HEI brand message and achieve results.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time may be necessary.
