This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Lead the acquisition of new customers and clients, focusing on untapped high-potential leads (including, but not limited to, Fuller alumni, large churches, and repeat buyers).
• Serve as a crucial intermediary in the pipeline to progress leads initiated by LFD senior leaders (e.g., the Chief of Leadership Formation) towards near-completion, facilitating a seamless handoff to the appropriate senior leader.
• Create and present proposals that clearly convey value, impact, and alignment with the missions of partners and customers.
• Take ownership of and meet annual revenue targets through the sales of products and services.
• Travel frequently to denominational gatherings, regional conferences, alumni events, and other pertinent venues.
• Deliver compelling communication regarding LFD’s offerings (e.g., hosting booths, leading workshops) to effectively represent LFD's needs and opportunities.
• Identify and implement external strategic opportunities to enhance audience awareness of LFD (e.g., pinpointing key podcasts for the Sales Director or LFD leaders to guest on, writing guest articles for major publications).
• Collaborate with relevant LFD staff and the Senior Director of Branding & Marketing to establish and continuously refine the packaging of LFD’s core services, resources, product offerings, and pricing.
• Coordinate with sales roles across LFD to ensure a smooth and consistent sales acquisition and expansion process.
• Provide guidance, operational coordination, and maintain the operational health of division-wide CRM usage, particularly in relation to developing and executing a sales and partnership pipeline.
• Oversee and mentor the Partnership Operations Manager, who manages internal processes, workflows, tools, templates, data, and tracking across LFD.
• A Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, public relations, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in sales and/or partnerships in a nonprofit, theological education, and/or church context.
• Strong preference for candidates with additional experience in church or related ministry settings.
• Proven excellence in leading partnership and/or sales initiatives, activities, and messaging that promote inclusion and equity in a diverse environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and coalition-building abilities, including strong listening and interpretive skills, with expertise in effectively and creatively engaging a wide range of individuals and groups.
• Capacity to represent Fuller with theological depth, relational intelligence, and strategic insight with foundations, donors, the marketplace, and within the Fuller ecosystem.
• Proven ability to think strategically and implement policies and procedures that align with institutional and divisional objectives.
• Ability to integrate a cohesive LFD partnerships approach with the dynamics of multiple center teams, brands, and specific audiences, identifying win/win opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, whether by phone, email, social media, or in person.
• Strong writing skills are mandatory.
• Experience with customer relationship management is necessary.
• Comprehensive knowledge and skills in computer and Internet usage are required; experience with HubSpot CRM software and implementing AI tools is highly preferred.
• Capability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for new and emerging media trends and practices is essential.
• Must be willing to adhere to Fuller Community Standards.
