Director of Retention – Monetisation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Drive the strategic vision for our Activation and CRM teams.

• Establish and oversee the Retention & Monetization Squad from the ground up.

• Design and implement our monetization experimentation strategy.

• Develop a Retention Engine that operates autonomously.

• Initiate self-sustaining interventions and accelerate pricing experiments at ten times the current industry pace.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in Growth, Lifecycle, or Retention within B2B SaaS. You have developed a lifecycle system from scratch, rather than simply managing an existing one.

• Your instinct is to create a prototype rather than a presentation. You become frustrated with slow feedback loops and leverage AI tools (n8n, Zapier, Claude, etc.) to expedite them.

• Hard Requirement: You haven’t merely "used" AI; you have implemented an AI-native automation or workflow that is actively in production.

• You possess a strong understanding of value metrics, tier design, and willingness-to-pay analysis. You can discuss NRR and LTV with a CFO, as well as "API architecture" with a CTO.

• Proficiency in CRM orchestration (HubSpot/Braze), product analytics (Amplitude/Mixpanel), and SQL. You extract your own data; you don’t wait for a ticket.

• You have a solid grasp of ICE prioritization, cohort analysis, and statistical significance. You can distinguish between genuine signals and mere noise.
