This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Venezuela.
• Lead the development, assessment, and consolidation of annual operating budgets for both property and corporate levels.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial as well as operational reporting for all properties.
• Track performance in relation to budget and pro forma; conduct variance analysis and implement corrective action plans to meet NOI, cash flow, occupancy, and delinquency objectives.
• Supervise and assist regional and property managers through coaching, performance evaluations, and accountability measures.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations for property management personnel.
• Create, maintain, and enforce procedural guides, standard operating procedures, and policy manuals.
• Ensure adherence to fair housing regulations, landlord-tenant obligations, company policies, loan covenants, and affordable housing program guidelines.
• Establish and uphold systems to monitor deadlines, projects, and compliance responsibilities across the portfolio.
• Oversee the utilization of Entrata and spearhead process enhancements to boost efficiency and data integrity.
• Partner with ownership and senior leadership on capital planning, portfolio optimization, and onboarding of new properties.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, business administration, or a related discipline is required.
• An advanced degree (MBA, MS in Real Estate/Finance) and/or relevant professional designations (CPM, CAPS, CPA) are strongly preferred.
• 3–5+ years of progressively responsible experience in multifamily property management, including oversight at the portfolio or regional level.
• Proven history of managing property and corporate budgets, analyzing financial statements, and enhancing NOI and cash flow performance.
• Direct experience in supervising regional and property managers and leading onsite teams in a high-volume, deadline-oriented setting.
• Strong understanding of multifamily operations, covering leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and fundamental landlord-tenant law; experience with affordable housing programs is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency with property management and accounting software (Entrata, Yardi, RealPage, MRI, or similar) along with strong skills in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Outstanding organizational abilities and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion, along with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to follow-through.
• TCS certification preferred/required within the first 6 months of employment.
• English proficiency is essential.
