This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the positioning and messaging for all products in the portfolio, encompassing flagship platforms and new releases.
• Create distinct narratives that resonate with various audiences: superintendents, school technology directors, data and privacy leaders, and curriculum specialists.
• Define and enhance the category narrative, positioning ClassLink as a leader in critical areas.
• Establish messaging frameworks, value propositions, and proof points that serve as the definitive source for all teams.
• Manage the go-to-market strategy for each product and feature launch, overseeing everything from strategy to coordinated execution.
• Lead cross-functional launches, ensuring alignment among product, demand generation, creative, customer marketing, and sales teams around a unified timeline and message.
• Determine audience segmentation, launch sequencing, success metrics, and the transitions that create a seamless launch experience both internally and externally.
• Develop a repeatable launch framework to enhance efficiency with each release.
• Serve as a vital partner to Product, Sales, Demand Generation, Customer Marketing, and Creative leaders, converting product strategy into clear go-to-market plans.
• Direct creative briefs for product pages, campaigns, and launch materials, ensuring all content aligns with established positioning.
• Provide grounded and honest market feedback into product, marketing, and leadership discussions.
• Create tools that assist the field in selling, including talk tracks, battle cards, objection-handling guides, demo scripts, and one-pagers.
• Manage competitive intelligence by monitoring the market, maintaining an updated competitive landscape, and briefing leadership and sales on relevant changes and their significance.
• Translate wins, losses, and feedback from the field into refined positioning and improved tools.
• Cultivate and sustain a thorough understanding of the purchasing processes within districts, including who influences decisions and what each buyer prioritizes.
• Develop and enhance buyer personas, message maps, and research that grounds positioning in the customer’s perspective rather than internal terminology.
• Collaborate with Product on roadmap and pricing decisions, integrating the buyer’s voice early in the planning process.
• Conduct win/loss analyses and customer research to validate positioning and identify opportunities.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in product marketing, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role with management responsibilities.
• A proven history of successfully positioning and launching B2B SaaS or EdTech products that drive adoption, pipeline growth, and revenue.
• Demonstrated proficiency in writing: positioning documents, messaging frameworks, sales tools, and launch narratives that are clear, differentiated, and ready for implementation.
• Strong comprehension of B2B SaaS or EdTech go-to-market strategies, and how product, marketing, sales, and customer teams collaborate.
• Experience managing competitive intelligence, buyer research, and sales enablement initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills: able to simplify complex products, articulate ideas with clarity, and present confidently to both internal and external audiences.
• Experience in leading or mentoring a team, providing clear direction, and upholding high standards for quality.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for team meetings and conferences.
