This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for security offerings.
• Advocate for the security strategy both internally with engineering and leadership, as well as externally with customers and the market.
• Dive deeply into database security, networking, and identity and access management.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to deliver secure products.
• Convert complex security requirements into specifications and user stories.
• Manage backlog prioritization and make trade-offs considering business value, customer risk, and engineering costs.
• Lead go-to-market strategies for security launches, encompassing positioning, sales enablement, and documentation.
• Track the performance of security features and utilize data to inform future product decisions.
• Act as the security subject-matter expert and mentor PMs on security-related challenges.
• Represent the security posture and roadmap to customers, prospects, and analysts.
• Over 10 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a sustained emphasis on security products or features.
• Proven experience in establishing security strategy at an organizational level.
• Practical experience with database security principles and best practices.
• Strong grasp of networking concepts and their security implications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of identity and access management (IAM).
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
• Robust program management skills encompassing planning, execution, and risk management.
• Demonstrated history of representing products externally to customers, analysts, or at industry events.
• Capability to convey intricate technical security topics to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in guiding or informally mentoring fellow product managers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Sound judgment in determining when to escalate issues versus making decisions independently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with changing priorities.
