This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead, manage, coach, and cultivate the product management team.
• Hold product managers accountable for product outcomes and their professional development.
• Oversee hiring processes and performance evaluations.
• Enhance practices related to discovery, prioritization, requirements, and measurement.
• Ensure product managers accurately define customer challenges, desired outcomes, scope, and acceptance criteria.
• Differentiate between research and experiments versus work that is ready for delivery.
• Take ownership of product scope and priorities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, the Scrum Master, and the Technical Project Manager on dependencies, estimates, readiness, planning, and coordination.
• Directly lead product initiatives from discovery to launch when necessary.
• Work alongside the SVP of Product & Solutions Architecture on product strategy and investment priorities.
• Manage portfolio sequencing and address cross-product trade-offs.
• Assess opportunities based on customer value, revenue potential, data and infrastructure costs, capacity, and displaced work.
• Communicate changes to the roadmap and their implications.
• Establish customer discovery practices with brands, agencies, and internal users.
• Collaborate on pilot customers, data requirements, success metrics, and launch criteria.
• Partner with Sales and Client Solutions on positioning, packaging, and launch readiness.
• Transform recurring customer needs into repeatable capabilities.
• Assist customer-facing teams in articulating product capabilities, limitations, and measurement.
• Utilize adoption and performance data to guide investment decisions.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management.
• At least 3 years of direct management experience with product managers, including hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Proven experience leading a small product team with limited resources while directly contributing to product work.
• Strong product judgment, including decisions on what to build, postpone, or discontinue, and evaluating the resulting customer or business impacts.
• A successful track record of developing product managers in judgment, independence, and responsibility.
• Experience in bringing complex B2B data or machine learning products into production.
• Familiarity with working alongside Engineering and Data Science amidst uncertainties in data quality, model performance, and technical feasibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to frame decisions, draft useful requirements, and align technical and commercial stakeholders effectively.
• Competence in designing product metrics and experiments, interpreting results, and balancing customer value against delivery and operational costs.
• Preferred: experience in advertising technology, marketing technology, or a related data-driven marketing domain.
• Preferred: experience in programmatic advertising.
• Preferred: experience with partner integrations, data pipelines, model deployment, or real-time decision-making systems.
• Preferred: experience in transforming custom client solutions into reusable platform capabilities or self-service workflows.
