This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and spearhead the procurement function from inception.
• Create organization-wide procurement policies, processes, approval workflows, spend controls, and governance.
• Establish and oversee procurement KPIs, including cost savings, cycle time, and compliance rate.
• Collaborate with Legal and Finance on contract management and financial systems.
• Establish a vendor management program and direct sourcing strategy.
• Assemble and lead a small team, prioritize tasks, set quality standards, and provide coaching and support for escalations.
• Review and authorize significant RFPs, sourcing recommendations, and contract terms.
• Promote procurement policy compliance across departments and train department heads and budget owners.
• Monitor and report on off-contract spending.
• Assess, recommend, and deploy procurement software solutions integrated with LinkSquares and NetSuite.
• Manage the procurement technology roadmap and oversee relationships with procurement software vendors.
• Define contract management strategies and standards within LinkSquares CLM.
• Supervise sourcing strategies and major RFx events.
• Lead or co-lead negotiations and relationships with strategic high-value vendors.
• Create executive dashboards and report on procurement spending, savings, and compliance.
• Ensure data integrity in procurement and accurate spend categorization within NetSuite.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• 3+ years in a leadership or people-management capacity.
• Demonstrated success in building procurement functions or programs from the ground up and managing them through growth phases.
• Experience in implementing or managing procurement/P2P software platforms.
• Strong skills in negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Capacity to influence and promote process adoption across departments without direct authority.
• Excellent analytical abilities with experience in constructing spend reports and dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (preferred qualification).
• MBA is a plus.
• Direct experience with NetSuite (preferred qualification).
• Familiarity with LinkSquares or other CLM tools is strongly preferred.
• A builder mindset with the capability to establish and scale a procurement function.
• Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and encourage the adoption of new processes.
• Strategic and analytical mindset accompanied by sound business judgment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Travel requirements: less than 25%.
