Director of Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the strategic vision for Procurement Services throughout KCG, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals and operational priorities.

• Take ownership and lead standardization initiatives related to procurement and metrics across all business units.

• Manage enterprise budget oversight and operational support functions.

• Create and sustain short- and long-term forecasting models that aid in strategic planning, resource allocation, operational scalability, and financial performance targets.

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate high-performing teams while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Drive enterprise procurement strategies emphasizing vendor relationships, purchasing efficiencies, material management, risk mitigation, and cost optimization.

• Collaborate closely with Operations leadership to enhance project planning, execution visibility, resource forecasting, and decision-making capabilities.

• Work in partnership with Finance, Accounting, Safety, Quality, and Technology teams to ensure coherence between operational execution and company objectives.

• Direct the implementation and ongoing enhancement of procurement-related systems, tools, and technologies, including CMiC and other operational platforms.

• Establish scalable processes and organizational structures that facilitate company growth while enhancing consistency and operational efficiency.

• Formulate staffing strategies and succession plans to guarantee adequate project services support across all business units.

• Promote accountability concerning operational performance metrics and bolster continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

• Offer insights and recommendations to executive leadership on operational efficiencies, resource optimization, and procurement strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of progressive procurement experience within the construction industry.

• Proven experience in managing subcontractor procurement and sourcing for fabrication.

• Strong commercial knowledge and expertise in contract negotiation.

• Experience in a self-performing contractor environment.
