This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships throughout the organization while possessing a comprehensive understanding of employee experience, organizational health, and team dynamics.
• Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing CDI’s culture and employee experience, which include onboarding processes, training sessions, team gatherings, and organization-wide rituals.
• Create and refine the systems, feedback mechanisms, and personnel practices that enable CDI to sustain a robust, connected, and mission-driven culture as we expand.
• Facilitate all-hands meetings and internal communications that foster clarity, alignment, and connection within the organization.
• Act as a reliable thought partner for staff and managers, assisting in navigating team dynamics, challenges, and intricate personnel situations before they escalate into larger organizational issues.
• Provide coaching to managers regarding feedback, communication strategies, accountability, and having difficult conversations.
• Develop and enhance performance and development practices that foster clear expectations, constructive feedback, accountability, and employee growth.
• Collaborate with managers and leaders to bolster leadership effectiveness and team well-being across CDI.
• Oversee CDI’s compensation framework and the annual review processes related to compensation, ensuring that practices are equitable, competitive, and in line with organizational values.
• Manage CDI’s core HR operations, systems, and compliance processes across a multi-state workforce in collaboration with our PEO, JustWorks.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HR or People Operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior generalist or leadership role.
• Proven experience in supporting organizations during periods of significant growth and increasing complexity.
• Strong generalist expertise across essential HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and talent acquisition.
