This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the operational leader for PFS functions for designated Healthrise clients, ensuring daily operations meet or surpass performance standards.
• Directly oversee and mentor team leaders, supervisors, and staff in hospital billing, professional billing, accounts receivable follow-up, denials, customer service, and other operational areas.
• Utilize data-driven insights to pinpoint issues and proactively address them through coaching, workflow implementation, or hands-on intervention.
• Collaborate with analytics and client stakeholders to establish KPIs and create performance dashboards.
• Apply best practices across systems and teams, particularly within Epic, Cerner, or Meditech environments.
• Engage in root cause analyses, assist in drafting appeal letters, coach teams on challenging accounts, and formulate SOPs based on real-time observations.
• Promote employee engagement and cultivate a robust, accountable team culture through transparent communication, clear expectations, and ongoing feedback.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within a multi-hospital health system environment.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing PFS operations.
• Proven track record in leading and mentoring billing and follow-up teams in high-volume settings.
• In-depth understanding of payer guidelines, claims processing, denials management, and revenue cycle KPIs.
• Familiarity with Epic is preferred.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities with a history of implementing process improvements and revitalizing underperforming teams or functions.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-paced environments; capable of strategic thinking while acting tactically.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
