This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the revenue target - Propel towards an annually defined partner-sourced revenue goal. You will establish the strategy to achieve this, monitor progress diligently, and adjust as necessary. You understand the key levers that truly impact the revenue.
• Enhance and expand the partner program - The groundwork is established. You will assess what is functioning, pinpoint structural gaps, tiers, and enablement, and elevate partner performance standards. You will outline what an exemplary partner relationship looks like at Velora and systematically bridge the gap between the current state of the program and its desired future.
• Engage and onboard new partners - Discover, engage, and finalize partnerships with high-value entities in the nonprofit sector — including consultants, integrators, associations, technology partners, and channel partners. You have the ability to compellingly communicate the program's value and close deals effectively.
• Activate partners with the same vigor as signing - A signed partner that fails to generate leads represents a lost opportunity. You consider activation a fundamental aspect of your role, not merely a transition. You create the playbooks, execute the processes, and remain involved until partners are actively producing.
• Manage the partner relationship comprehensively - You will serve as the primary liaison for partners. You will handle the relationship with the diligence of a key account manager and the long-term strategic vision of someone committed to building enduring partnerships.
• Foster cross-functional enablement - Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure prompt follow-up on partner-sourced leads, successful execution of co-marketing initiatives, and integration of partners into broader go-to-market strategies.
• Analyze and refine - Monitor partner pipeline, activation rates, and revenue contributions. Provide data-driven insights and clear recommendations to leadership regarding effective strategies, areas for improvement, and opportunities for further investment.
• 7+ years of experience in SaaS partnerships - You have led a partnerships function rather than merely participating in one.
• Familiarity with nonprofit SaaS - You have experience in the nonprofit sector and understand its dynamics.
• A solid history of revenue achievement - You have taken ownership of a revenue target and can clearly articulate how you achieved (or did not achieve) it, along with the insights gained. You prioritize outcomes over mere activity metrics.
• Unwavering focus on targets - You can precisely identify the key activities that impact your revenue and guard that time zealously. You avoid distractions from low-leverage relationships and quickly diagnose and correct course when behind targets.
• Proactive self-starter - You do not let obstacles hinder you for long. You learn swiftly, adapt when the existing playbook is ineffective, and find solutions independently. You are the one setting the pace without needing close supervision.
• Balanced seller, marketer, and relationship manager - You can confidently pitch the partner program, design effective enablement strategies to activate partners, and nurture ongoing relationships with the attentiveness of a Customer Success Manager. You see signing and activation as interconnected responsibilities.
• Strong sense of accountability - When outcomes deviate from expectations, you consider what you could have done differently. You welcome constructive criticism and use it for personal growth, avoiding externalizing blame.
• Depth in relationships - You have established meaningful, long-lasting connections within your industry. You recognize that influence in the closely-knit nonprofit sector grows over time and you invest in these relationships accordingly.
• Proficient in cross-functional collaboration - You work seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams. You bring solutions to problems, escalate issues rarely, and when you do, you present a recommendation.
• Alignment with mission - You genuinely care about the nonprofit sector. Our customers are making impactful changes in the world, and you aspire to contribute to their efforts in doing so more effectively.
