Director of Organic Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive organic growth strategy encompassing SEO, ASO, GEO, and extension platforms.

• Establish and monitor quarterly and annual OKRs associated with impressions, clicks, MAU, installs, and revenue.

• Lead, mentor, and expand the organic growth team, nurturing a culture of experimentation and accountability.

• Take ownership of and prioritize the organic growth roadmap, balancing immediate wins with long-term goals.

• Collaborate across departments to integrate organic growth into product development, launches, and content strategies.

• Influence product roadmap decisions by leveraging user intent, search trends, and competitive insights.

• Manage end-to-end SEO performance across web properties.

• Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to achieve and sustain top keyword rankings.

• Lead technical SEO projects focusing on crawlability, indexation, site performance, and structured data.

• Supervise keyword research, content optimization, and content gap analysis.

• Oversee link-building and digital PR strategies to enhance domain authority.

• Track algorithm updates and adjust strategies to maintain growth.

• Formulate strategies to maximize visibility in AI-driven search experiences.

• Optimize content and structure for LLM-based discovery and citations.

• Define GEO metrics and conduct experiments to evaluate impact on traffic and conversions.

• Perform competitive analysis to enhance share of voice in generative outputs.

• Manage app visibility and performance across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Optimize app listings, including titles, descriptions, keywords, and creative assets.

• Develop a strategy for ratings and reviews to boost user trust and conversion rates.

• Conduct A/B testing to continuously enhance install conversion rates.

• Collaborate on localization strategies for international markets.

• Manage visibility across browser extension marketplaces (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox).

• Optimize listings and improve conversion rates through ongoing testing.

• Create strategies to boost ratings, reviews, and user engagement.

• Align extension strategies with SEO and ASO for a cohesive organic presence.

• Build and maintain dashboards to track performance across all organic channels.

• Establish KPIs and ensure data-driven decision-making within the team.

• Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

• Manage and optimize the organic growth tech stack, including analytics, SEO, and ASO tools.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in SEO and/or organic growth, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.

• Proven track record of driving organic growth for high-traffic platforms and consumer applications.

• Demonstrated capability to achieve high rankings for competitive keywords and scale organic visibility from the ground up.

• Extensive expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, and link-building.

• Practical experience with ASO for iOS and/or Android applications.

• Strong understanding of AI-driven search and emerging GEO practices.

• Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and ASO platforms.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS skills.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly in presenting to senior leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

• Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or consumer tech sectors.

• Exposure to multi-regional and multilingual SEO/ASO strategies.

• Knowledge of structured data, schema markup, and knowledge graph optimization.

• Experience with programmatic SEO and large-scale content generation.

• Background in conversion rate optimization (CRO).

• Experience in optimizing browser extension listings.

• Comfortable working in a remote, globally distributed team.
