Director of Operations – Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement strategies focusing on marketing, business development, and community expansion, prioritizing the APAC region.

• Oversee planning cycles to ensure coherence between ecosystem projects and the mission of the Foundation.

• Discover market opportunities and establish Sentient Foundation as a frontrunner in the open-source AI sector.

• Facilitate collaboration across various functions, addressing dependencies and maintaining initiative timelines.

• Develop processes and systems that enhance team efficiency and operational excellence.

• Assist leadership with real-time decision-making to advance projects effectively.

• Cultivate relationships with exchanges, AI laboratories, protocols, and enterprises throughout APAC.

• Utilize exchange partnerships to promote strategic initiatives and enhance ecosystem visibility.

• Represent the Foundation at industry events and conferences across the region.

• Craft the Foundation's messaging and brand positioning with a regional focus.

• Create programs that engage developers, researchers, and innovators throughout APAC.

• Establish connections with community members, contributors, and key opinion leaders in essential markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy, operations, business development, or ecosystem growth in the web3 or AI sectors.

• Previous experience at a leading exchange (such as Coinbase, Binance, or OKX) is highly advantageous.

• Preference for candidates with experience in a foundation or protocol-level organization.

• Proven success in building partnerships and executing strategies within APAC markets.

• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.

• Comprehensive knowledge of open-source software, AI, and web3 ecosystems.

• An established network within the APAC AI and cryptocurrency communities is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
