This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete delivery of civic dialogues in active cities, managing the process from recruitment to facilitation and post-dialogue reporting.
• Maintain a biweekly launch schedule while ensuring exceptional quality.
• Lead, recruit, onboard, and nurture the program manager team.
• Revamp and document the 12-week dialogue playbook into a replicable system.
• Employ AI-driven workflows for participant matching, synthesis, and insight extraction.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with city offices, mayors, staff, and political leaders across the spectrum.
• Safeguard the program's non-partisan integrity.
• Collaborate strategically with the GM and policy directors on program expansion and direction.
• Develop effective and actionable city-level policies.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations or program leadership.
• Preferably, experience in a Chief of Staff role or as a senior operations leader within a government office or civic/political organization.
• Demonstrated experience in people management, particularly in developing senior or expert-level contributors.
• Direct experience working with or alongside city governments.
• Proven track record of building and scaling programs or processes from an initial stage.
• Experience in conducting structured dialogues, deliberative processes, or community engagement initiatives.
• Cross-partisan experience collaborating with both conservative and liberal stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills in managing people and teams.
• Expertise in operations and program management across multiple complex programs and staggered 12-week cycles.
• Proficiency in systems thinking and AI concepts.
• Skills in strategic program design.
• Solid understanding of civic dialogue and deliberation principles.
• Skills in managing cross-partisan stakeholders.
• Competence in developing city-level policies.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Compensation determined by a predefined salary scale and the cost of labor for the location.
• Take-home task compensated for approximately 4 hours at a prorated hourly rate.
