• Capture Management: Recognize, nurture, and finalize testing opportunities.
• Develop and oversee an opportunity pipeline along with a key account strategy.
• Create capture plans that encompass technical aspects, management strategies, past performance, pricing tactics, and winning themes for leads and opportunities.
• Progress leads and opportunities through the sales cycle in the CRM, which includes forecasting, revenue tracking, and regular progress reporting.
• Identify, plan, and implement new Naval Program testing initiatives that cater to emerging market segments.
• Devise and execute strategic business development plans to ensure business sustainability, revenue expansion, market entry, and other goals.
• Offer technical expertise regarding Naval engineering principles, integration of complex systems, and testing prerequisites.
• Represent EUSSD at Naval conferences, industry gatherings, and technical forums.
• Establish and maintain robust customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Possess an established network of contacts within the Navy and its primary contractors.
• Have at least 12 years of experience in business development, contract acquisitions, or program management within a U.S. Navy organization.
• Hold a minimum of 4 years of prior U.S. Naval or acquisition experience.
• Experience in discussing test and evaluation matters with senior program managers, engineers, and corporate executives.
• Possess a solid understanding of Naval programs, contracting, and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of advanced capability development in the Naval market, including cybersecurity, weapon systems, advanced communication technologies, or autonomous systems integration.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Program Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. person.
• Active SECRET security clearance is preferred.
• Demonstrated capture experience within the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) market is preferred.
