Director of Mechanical Engineering – Gas Power Generation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide technical and strategic direction for utility-scale gas power generation initiatives.

• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, procurement, construction, and project management teams to guide engineering choices, evaluate designs, identify risks, and ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently.

• Concentrate on nurturing both people and processes by mentoring engineers, establishing engineering standards, supporting project pursuits, and driving continuous improvement efforts.

• Act as a vital technical resource for the organization while helping to build and lead a high-performing engineering team that enhances the growth of Blattner's Gas Power Generation sector.

• Engage and cultivate positive relationships with gas power generation engineering firms and industry manufacturers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.

• A Registered Professional Engineering license is required and/or in the process of being obtained.

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience pertaining to utility-scale gas power generation projects OR mechanical engineering experience is required.

• At least 7 years of leadership experience is required.
