This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the assessment, planning, and implementation of ACES' new and acquisition expansion strategy.
• Analyze market and site prospects based on demand, payor dynamics, competitive landscape, labor availability, operational capabilities, real estate considerations, and financial metrics.
• Formulate strategic recommendations for market entry, new site development, acquisitions, and other expansion avenues.
• Maintain a prioritized list of de novo targets.
• Identify and cultivate potential de novo opportunities alongside the Growth and Real Estate teams.
• Establish and nurture relationships with acquisition targets, brokers, real estate partners, and various stakeholders.
• Prepare analyses and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Direct cross-functional planning and execution for new launches and integrations of acquired locations.
• Create launch and integration plans that include milestones, dependencies, decision points, and responsibilities.
• Ensure readiness across Growth, Operations, Talent, Clinical, Finance, Real Estate, and other departments.
• Identify risks associated with launches and integrations, facilitating cross-functional resolution of issues.
• Manage the transition of newly launched sites to Clinical Operations after confirming clinical staffing, credentialing, and operational readiness.
• Enhance and refine market evaluation, launch, integration, and post-launch playbooks.
• Develop scalable processes, analytical tools, and frameworks to support expansion.
• Provide senior leadership with insights into expansion performance, risks, opportunities, and critical decisions.
• Enhance the expansion operational model using data, experience, and market insights.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 6 years’ experience in strategy, consulting, healthcare operations, market expansion, corporate development, investment banking, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in evaluating and executing complex market expansion, de novo initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, or multi-site growth strategies.
• A strong history of transforming market, financial, operational, and competitive data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience leading intricate, cross-functional projects from strategy formulation through to execution.
• Proven ability to develop or enhance processes, frameworks, and tools that support scalable operations.
• Strong orientation towards business development, including opportunity sourcing and relationship building with acquisition targets, brokers, sellers, landlords, or other external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication (both oral and written), and executive presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and lift/move up to 15 pounds.
• Total target compensation of up to $200,000.
