• Lead and enhance IT service delivery for a distributed remote workforce of over 200 individuals, ensuring consistent service level agreements (SLAs), first-call resolution rates, and user satisfaction.
• Manage the health, performance, and lifecycle of GreenSlate's endpoint fleet, which includes patch management, imaging, remote remediation, and hardware provisioning.
• Supervise automated processes for onboarding, offboarding, and device lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on the architecture of internal systems, access management, and IT-related cloud services (such as AWS, Google Workspace, Azure, M365).
• Implement an automation-first approach to all IT workflows, ensuring that onboarding sequences, ticket triage, patch deployment, reporting, and SaaS provisioning are automated as a standard practice.
• Assess and propose emerging AI and automation tools that could enhance IT operations or provide measurable business benefits.
• Act as a key operational partner to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on security initiatives, translating security policies into actionable IT controls, configurations, and staff behaviors.
• Oversee vulnerability response processes for IT-managed infrastructure, working in conjunction with the Information Security team on CVE triage, remediation timelines, and change management.
• Maintain readiness for SOC audits by keeping accurate asset inventories, access records, and change logs within Jira and Rippling.
• Ensure that security tools are deployed on endpoints and servers, and are integrated with Jira-based incident workflows.
• Directly manage and develop a team of helpdesk administrators and system administrators, promoting a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and career development discussions; actively mentor team members towards growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand changing technology needs and provide scalable solutions that align with business growth.
• Define, monitor, and report IT key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership, including ticket SLAs, first call resolution rates, fleet compliance, patch coverage, and automation return on investment (ROI) on a recurring basis.
• Manage the IT and SaaS portfolio budget, identifying opportunities for cost reductions and consolidations without compromising capability or security.
• Over 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations roles, with a minimum of 4 years in a management position.
• Proven experience in leading IT within a remote-first or distributed setting; experience with a multi-country workforce is highly advantageous.
• Extensive working knowledge of Kaseya VSA or equivalent remote monitoring and management (RMM) platforms for fleet management, scripting, and patch automation.
• Practical experience with enterprise-level Google Workspace administration (OU structure, MDM, Vault, shared drives, admin console).
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) platforms (Jira Service Management is strongly preferred), including ticket workflows, SLA configuration, and reporting.
• Knowledge of internal IT use cases: Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), EC2, S3, and VPN/network connectivity.
• Understanding of EDR platforms and broader endpoint security posture management.
• Experience in implementing or managing device lifecycle programs, procurement, provisioning, asset tracking, and end-of-life (EOL) processes for over 200 devices.
• Strong project management capabilities: able to manage concurrent initiatives across teams with clear milestones, ownership, and accountability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Familiarity with AI tools on a daily basis; able to articulate use cases for project acceleration or problem-solving.
• Direct experience with enterprise AI platforms (Claude, Copilot, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, or equivalent).
• Ability to write or evaluate automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for IT operations workflows.
• Comfort with assessing AI/automation return on investment (ROI).
