This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Oversees and implements the strategic direction of the organization's enterprise IT policies and systems to align with corporate objectives, while serving as the primary technical resource and escalation point for infrastructure, networking, endpoint, identity, and enterprise applications.
• Collaborates with key functional directors and business leaders to articulate IT requirements, assess technology investments (including implementations, migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects), and facilitate organizational growth.
• Takes ownership of the architecture, administration, and ongoing enhancement of the technology stack, which includes Google Workspace, Jamf, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Cisco Meraki, and various enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Manages the lifecycle of hardware and software, including licensing, procurement, asset management, and vendor partnerships.
• Directs the assessment, implementation, and governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems and innovative AI tools within the organization to enhance operational efficiency and spur innovation.
• Creates AI-driven workflows, internal applications, and automations utilizing platforms such as Replit to boost productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Develops strong data security frameworks for AI models and external API integrations, ensuring that proprietary and sensitive company information remains safeguarded from unauthorized access and AI-specific risks.
• Establishes, maintains, and enforces comprehensive information security and disaster recovery protocols to protect company data, networks, applications, proprietary intellectual property, and highly confidential client information from both internal and external threats.
• Implements and oversees robust monitoring systems to track the software, applications, and tools used by internal teams, reducing shadow IT and ensuring compliance with the company's security standards.
• Collaborates with the Human Resources department to set up secure, compliant, and dependable protocols for HR to access essential organizational and employee data.
• Regularly assesses information risk and promotes ongoing information security awareness and compliance training throughout the organization.
• Capable of communicating with both internal and external stakeholders regarding data security policies, procedures, and standards, including AI ethics, data privacy, and compliance.
• Identifies and suggests new technologies and services that can enhance efficiency, processes, and operations; reviews requests for additional services and upgrades, evaluating the associated costs and benefits for the organization.
• Provides direct assistance to employees regarding technology hardware and software to ensure operational availability, and implements training programs (including the safe and secure use of AI platforms).
• Manages the quarterly IT budget to align with organizational goals and prepares formal business cases for hardware, software, or system upgrades to present to upper management.
• Develops tailored coaching plans for direct reports to foster continuous performance improvement and career advancement.
• Plays a vital role in the recruitment process and oversees the onboarding and training of new direct reports to achieve rapid ramp-up objectives.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably with a focus on managing IT infrastructure within a cloud-first, professional services environment.
• Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to define and implement a high-level technology vision, lead and develop high-performing teams, and manage complex, cross-functional projects from inception to delivery.
• Practical experience leading enterprise-wide AI initiatives (from vendor selection to implementation) along with expertise in data loss prevention (DLP), software monitoring tools, and secure data-access protocols.
• Experience deploying enterprise AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Google Gemini, or similar technologies, and developing internal automations or lightweight business applications using platforms like Replit.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to forge strong relationships, influence senior leaders, simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and drive effective change management.
• Experience in establishing, monitoring, and managing corporate IT budgets.
• Advanced knowledge of macOS, Google Workspace, Microsoft Operating Systems and Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Familiarity with administering Jamf, Okta, Zoom, Slack, Cisco Meraki, and identity and access management. Microsoft or Cisco Certifications are advantageous.
• Ability to think critically and address and resolve complex IT challenges and problems.
• Willingness to collaborate and actively engage with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines while thriving in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to identify the necessity for continuous process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance process efficiencies.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
