This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.
β’ Act as a strategic HR advisor to the firm's leadership; participate in leadership meetings and facilitate compliant employment decisions across a multi-country workforce.
β’ Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team; define clear responsibilities, escalation paths, and service standards.
β’ Provide guidance on escalated employee relations issues, performance challenges, and sensitive workplace situations; coach leaders through corrective actions, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and separations.
β’ Drive the firm's cultural strategy by developing programs that enhance connections among in-house and remote teams, supporting engagement and retention.
β’ Design and continuously enhance firm-wide training and development initiatives, including onboarding, compliance, leadership development, and management training.
β’ Oversee benefits programs, open enrollment, compensation philosophy, and total rewards strategies across multiple countries.
β’ Manage the company handbook, HR policies, and employee-facing documentation; identify risk areas and suggest scalable improvements.
β’ Collaborate with hiring managers on select strategic hires and support workforce planning and employer branding efforts.
β’ Establish internal communication standards, including newsletters, bulletins, and video channels.
β’ Lead monthly salary reviews and manage bonus plans, salary administration, and historical data reporting.
β’ Analyze workforce productivity metrics such as turnover and absenteeism to identify trends and propose solutions.
β’ Experience in leading HR for a workforce consisting of both in-house and remote team members, ideally across multiple locations or countries.
β’ Extensive experience in senior Talent & Culture leadership roles.
β’ Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and managing sensitive issues with discretion.
β’ Demonstrated strong strategic thinking, initiative, and decision-making abilities.
β’ Proven capacity to enhance associate engagement and cultivate a culture of belonging.
β’ Experience in designing organizational-level training and development programs.
β’ Proven experience in building or enhancing HR infrastructure β including policies, handbooks, operating models, HR systems, and team structure.
β’ Experience in leading HR team members and overseeing benefits, compensation, and total rewards.
β’ Excellent judgment, emotional intelligence, and discretion.
β’ Strong English communication skills (C1 level or higher), both verbal and written.
β’ U.S. HR experience is preferred but not mandatory; candidates without it must be dedicated to learning U.S. employment laws and multi-state compliance.
