This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Develop and implement a workforce strategy that aligns with the business goals and long-term priorities of the Hospitality Vertical.
β’ Provide counsel to the CEO of the Hospitality Vertical, the Vertical Leadership Team, Business Unit leaders, and senior executives regarding organizational structure, leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, and complex employee issues.
β’ Convert business priorities into HR initiatives that enhance organizational capabilities and foster profitable growth.
β’ Identify and mitigate people-related risks and capitalize on opportunities.
β’ Offer leadership, direction, and support to HR professionals throughout the Vertical.
β’ Oversee talent management, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and the identification of high-potential talent.
β’ Create methods for evaluating performance, potential, leadership capabilities, and organizational readiness.
β’ Develop succession pipelines for key leadership and specialist positions.
β’ Supervise performance management, goal setting, annual evaluations, merit planning, compensation planning, benchmarking, and incentive and bonus structures.
β’ Analyze workforce and compensation data to inform business decisions.
β’ Direct HR due diligence and integration for acquisitions within the Hospitality Vertical.
β’ Formulate and manage HR integration plans for newly acquired entities.
β’ Provide guidance on organizational design, retention strategies, leadership continuity, employee communications, and people considerations related to acquisitions.
β’ Lead or assist in restructures, leadership transitions, acquisitions, and organizational realignments.
β’ Develop change management and communication strategies in response to organizational changes.
β’ Establish HR standards, frameworks, and governance while maintaining a decentralized operating philosophy.
β’ Ensure the implementation of effective HR practices and compliance with relevant employment regulations.
β’ Collaborate with Legal and external advisors on complex employment and employee relations issues.
β’ Oversee HR systems, policies, benefits, payroll, and other operational HR processes.
β’ Utilize workforce analytics and HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing insights to senior leadership.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or a comparable field.
β’ Over 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally across multiple businesses, divisions, or geographic regions.
β’ Proven experience functioning as a strategic HR partner to CEOs, senior executives, and business leaders.
β’ Extensive background in talent management, succession planning, organizational design, and compensation.
β’ Documented experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions, including HR due diligence and integration post-acquisition.
β’ Strong knowledge of employment practices, employee relations, and HR risk management.
β’ Proven ability to thrive in a decentralized, entrepreneurial environment.
β’ Robust commercial and financial insight with the capability to align people decisions with business outcomes.
β’ Exceptional judgment, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
β’ Capability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution as necessary.
β’ Participation in the discretionary company bonus plan.
