This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, monitor, and cultivate new business prospects within the DoD unmanned systems program offices across the Army, Navy, USAF, USMC, and SOCOM.
• Establish and maintain direct connections with program managers, requirements officers, S&T/R&D offices, and contracting officials within DoD UAS, UGV, and USV acquisition entities.
• Engage with DARPA, DIU, and ARL/AFRL/ONR initiatives focusing on autonomous systems and resilient communications capabilities.
• Influence requirements and procurement language in BAAs, RFIs, and RFPs to reflect Doodle Labs' mesh networking and MANET radio functionalities across UxV platforms.
• Monitor and track DoD unmanned systems procurement pipelines through platforms such as SAM.gov, GovTribe, and USASpending.gov; provide actionable BD pipeline reports to leadership.
• Oversee the generation and tracking of USG RFI/RPF responses.
• Lead or coordinate government-facing proposals, white papers, capability briefings, and field demonstrations aimed at DoD UAS, UGV, and USV program stakeholders.
• Stay updated on DoD unmanned systems modernization efforts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to align Doodle Labs' roadmap with the changing communications requirements of DoD unmanned systems.
• Manage the BD pipeline using HubSpot CRM; ensure accurate tracking of opportunity stages, values, and forecasts.
• Represent Doodle Labs at significant DoD-focused events.
• 7+ years of experience in business development, capture management, or program management focused on DoD unmanned systems programs across one or more domains (air, ground, or maritime).
• Established relationships within DoD unmanned systems acquisition communities, including Army Futures Command/PAE structures, NAVAIR, PEO USC, AFSOC, SOCOM, or similar UAS/UGV/USV program offices.
• Extensive knowledge of DoD acquisition processes such as JCIDS, DAS, PPBE, OTA (Other Transaction Authority), and rapid fielding pathways as they pertain to unmanned systems.
• Proven ability to identify and shape requirements in RFIs, BAAs, and RFPs for DoD technology programs.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create concise capability briefings, white papers, and presentations for government audiences.
• Active US Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• US citizenship is required.
