This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Identify, research, and engage potential private and public foundation partners that resonate with the organization's mission and goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with foundation program officers, trustees, and key decision-makers.
• Collaborate with program teams to collect data, narratives, and information essential for grant applications.
• Ensure timely submission of grant applications while adhering to all compliance requirements.
• Manage the administration of grants, ensuring all reporting obligations are fulfilled and deadlines are met.
• Keep detailed records of grant applications, approvals, and denials.
• Serve as the main point of contact for foundation partners, offering regular updates on the impact of their contributions.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of programs and projects promised to foundation partners.
• Develop and oversee an annual budget for foundation fundraising activities.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to establish and meet fundraising goals, ensuring the organization's financial objectives are achieved through foundation support.

• Acknowledgment of our Statement of Faith
• A passion for justice and advocacy for vulnerable populations.
• A Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• A proven history of successful foundation fundraising and relationship development.
• 7-10 years of experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the grant-making process and the foundation landscape.
• Excellent communication and grant writing capabilities, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with grant management software and databases.
• Capacity to work both independently and cooperatively within a team.
