Director of Forensic Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and guide a team of engineers.

• Evaluate the work of junior consultants to ensure accurate, high-quality, and timely outputs.

• Communicate project budgets and scope to clients while ensuring compliance.

• Facilitate the timely achievement of project milestones.

• Organize client site visits and manage project deliverables.

• Generate reports that compile onsite inspection data, environmental considerations, material characteristics, and engineering assessments to identify causes and extent of building distress and failures.

• Conduct site visits and gather field data from both residential and commercial properties.

• Review and analyze relevant building codes.

• Support business development efforts by participating in conferences, events, dinners, and luncheons.

• Carry out additional assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• Over 15 years of experience in forensic engineering.

• Proven capability to produce detailed technical reports based on inspection findings.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Established client network with a strong history of building and maintaining enduring client relationships.
