Director of Financial Systems – Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Spearhead financial systems discovery projects across AHI on behalf of the Finance department.

• Assess financial software, tools, and workflows that support insurance operations.

• Manage vendor assessments, RFP processes, and system selection.

• Act as the AHI team's lead for innovation and the application of AI.

• Function as the liaison among Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams.

• Ensure that systems comply with regulations, controls, GAAP standards, business requirements, and enterprise policies.

• Collaborate with the Finance and Technology teams from Brown & Brown.

• Assist in system implementations and optimize processes after implementation.

• Help prepare business cases and perform ROI analysis.

• Work together with Program Management on planning, resource allocation, and prioritization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in financial systems or roles focused on finance transformation.

• Strongly preferred experience in the insurance industry (carrier, brokerage, MGA).

• Proven experience in leading system evaluations and implementations.

• In-depth knowledge of financial controls and compliance measures.

• Familiarity with AI platforms and their applications.

• Critical experience within an insurance industry carrier, brokerage, MGA, or specialty insurance environment is essential for initial success.
