Director of Financial Systems – Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Drive financial systems exploration initiatives throughout AHI on behalf of the Finance department.

• Assess financial software, tools, and workflows that support insurance operations.

• Manage vendor evaluations, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and system selection processes.

• Act as the team lead for innovation and AI application within AHI.

• Function as a liaison among the Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams.

• Ensure that systems adhere to compliance, controls, and GAAP standards.

• Collaborate with Brown & Brown's enterprise Finance and Technology teams.

• Assist with system implementations and optimize post-implementation processes.

• Contribute to the development of business cases and return on investment (ROI) analyses.

• Work together with Program Management on planning, resource allocation, and prioritization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in financial systems or finance transformation roles.

• Strong preference for candidates with insurance industry experience (carrier, brokerage, MGA).

• Proven experience in leading system evaluations and implementations.

• Solid understanding of financial controls and regulatory compliance.
