This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the company's forecasting approach related to revenue, reimbursement, and long-term planning, collaborating with Sales & Operations Planning on provider productivity.
• Develop and refine driver-based financial models to facilitate executive decision-making, budgeting, scenario analysis, and growth strategizing.
• Detect deficiencies in data, systems, and billing processes, and drive solutions across functions.
• Persuade Finance, Operations, Billing, and Clinical stakeholders to enhance processes and improve data quality.
• Shift financial reporting from manual spreadsheet operations to scalable processes and contemporary planning tools.
• Collaborate with billing and operations teams to implement financial models and construct reporting frameworks.
• Create governance, documentation, and feedback mechanisms to assess forecast performance and pinpoint root causes of variances.
• Assist with investor reporting, board materials, and fundraising by providing clear financial narratives.
• Oversee the annual budget, forecasting, and long-range planning cycle from start to finish.
• Report directly to the CFO as a senior individual contributor without responsibilities for managing personnel.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, strategic finance, or financial analytics, preferably in healthcare, MSO, or complex multi-site services.
• Extensive knowledge in constructing forecasting models for revenue, operating expenses, and long-term planning.
• Strong grasp of healthcare revenue cycle economics, reimbursement, payer contracts, and accounts receivable dynamics.
• Capability to identify the underlying causes of forecasting or planning issues and enhance business processes, systems, or data quality.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• SQL experience is preferred, or a strong eagerness to learn.
• Familiarity with modern planning or BI tools such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Pigment, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
