Director of Finance – FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the corporate FP&A cycle, encompassing annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-term planning, monthly business reviews, and executive reporting.

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and functional leaders to align financial plans with business drivers, operational performance, investment choices, and cost-to-serve economics.

• Create and maintain driver-based financial models, conduct scenario analyses, and develop performance dashboards.

• Manage variance analysis, trend reporting, and financial narratives that clarify results, outlook, and suggested actions for senior leaders.

• Promote process enhancements, automation, and reporting standardization to boost accuracy, speed, transparency, and scalability.

• Assess business cases, productivity initiatives, network investments, and opportunities for cost reduction.

• Lead, mentor, and develop FP&A team members; establish priorities, oversee performance, and enhance analytical capability, business partnership, and executive communication skills.

• Convert intricate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations that foster accountability, cost efficiency, and business performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10–12 years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or similar analytical roles.

• Experience in people leadership or cross-functional leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• Extensive FP&A knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, variance analysis, financial modeling, and executive reporting.

• Strong skills in leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management.

• Ability to influence without authority and cultivate trusted partnerships within the organization.

• Experience enhancing FP&A processes, reporting tools, and financial controls.

• Capability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and accountability.

• Familiarity with Oracle EPM/PBCS or similar enterprise planning tools is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other equivalent advanced credentials are preferred.
