Director of Finance – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver proactive financial leadership and accounting assistance at hotels during periods of Director of Finance and accounting vacancies.

• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and hotel management to attract, onboard, train, and nurture property accounting talent.

• Spearhead initiatives for finance process enhancement and automation.

• Execute and refine finance systems, internal controls, reporting, and accounting procedures.

• Aid hotel openings and transitions by setting up accounting processes, systems, controls, and training programs.

• Act as a liaison between corporate and field teams.

• Address operational challenges and promote the adoption of new processes and tools.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% to support properties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting.

• At least 2 years in a leadership position.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, income audit, and general ledger reconciliation.

• Experience in hotel finance and full-service operations is preferred.

• Certification as a Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE) is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with POS/PMS systems.

• Preferred experience with Sage300, ProfitSage, Coupa, Workday, and Concur.

• Willingness to travel 80% or more to meet property needs across the portfolio.
