Director of Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage long-term financial modeling, forecasting, and provide strategic decision support for leadership.

• Enhance automation and technology integrations across Stripe, NetSuite, Brex, and Playbook OS.

• Revamp annual budgeting and actual-versus-budget reporting processes.

• Aim for a monthly close within 10 days.

• Develop advanced data capabilities and provide actionable financial insights to department heads.

• Build, mentor, and expand a high-performing finance team.

• Oversee GAAP compliance, external audits, tax strategy, and multi-entity/subsidiary consolidation.

• Optimize working capital and project free cash flow.

• Manage cash buffers effectively.

• Prepare data rooms, ensure quality of earnings readiness, and handle board/investor reporting.

• Act as a strategic partner to leadership and report directly to the CFO.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, combining foundational accounting/controllership expertise with high-growth strategic FP&A.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required.

• CPA, CFA, or MBA is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in administering and integrating NetSuite, Stripe, and Brex.

• Advanced SQL or BI dashboarding experience is highly advantageous.

• Capability to conduct board-level scenario modeling and resolve complex multi-entity reconciliations or ERP data flows.

• Proficiency in translating complex financial data into clear operational narratives for non-financial leaders.
