This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Oversee the Executive Administration and Board Governance function, formulating strategy, service standards, and operational practices.
• Act as the main point of contact for the Board of Directors.
• Ensure the implementation of effective governance processes, regulatory compliance, communications with the Board, and coordination among the Board, CEO, and executive leadership team.
• Manage Board and committee operations, governance schedules, annual planning cycles, meeting effectiveness, governance documentation, Board education, and support for strategic planning.
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team on organizational goals and enterprise initiatives.
• Supervise executive operations and governance processes to enhance efficiency, communication, decision-making, and execution.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the Executive Administration team.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and manage workload within the Executive Administration function.
• Foster relationships with Board members, executive leaders, regulators, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Manage sensitive organizational, governance, and executive matters.
• Direct special projects and strategic initiatives for the CEO and Board, including research, analysis, recommendations, and implementation support.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Operate remotely utilizing telecommunications technology and job-specific software, including Microsoft Office products.
• Travel for meetings and training sessions, which may occur outside regular hours.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• At least seven (7) years of experience providing executive-level support to C-suite leaders.
• Experience in the financial services or credit union industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex calendars, handle confidential communications, and coordinate high-level meetings for senior executives.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a leadership position responsible for directing and guiding a team of individual contributors.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Advanced time management and multitasking capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality in managing sensitive information and executive communications.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Expertise in executive travel logistics, meeting coordination, and preparation of briefing materials.
• Ability in strategic planning.
• Proficiency in calendar management tools, communication platforms, and Microsoft Office products.
• High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel is required.
• Must reside in Washington or Oregon.
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
