• Take ownership of comprehensive patient retention metrics, encompassing program adherence (such as vitals submission, visit completion, and care plan fulfillment), consistent engagement over time, as well as disengagement and churn.
• Develop and implement a retention playbook that spans the entire patient lifecycle, including enrollment, onboarding, activation, care management, and ongoing care maintenance.
• Identify critical drop-off points (for example, early inactivity, missed vitals, scheduling gaps, and incomplete care goals) and create targeted interventions.
• Formulate strategies to manage patient disenrollment when necessary.
• Within your first 90 days, launch 1-3 impactful engagement experiments (such as new channel strategies) with the aim of scaling at least one to make a significant contribution within your first year.
• Manage each initiative from concept through testing, forecasting, and launch, ensuring cross-functional coordination and return on investment.
• Establish a structured experimentation roadmap to continuously enhance engagement campaigns and discover new growth opportunities.
• Oversee the strategy for all patient-facing communication across various channels (calls, SMS, email).
• Redesign outreach efforts centered around key engagement triggers and develop personalized, proactive communication to keep patients on track when they exhibit signs of disengagement.
• Create patient segmentation and persona-based engagement strategies (for example, based on clinical condition or activation risk).
• Own and refine Cadence’s engagement and retention metrics.
• Develop a structured experimentation roadmap to ensure our engagement campaigns are of the highest quality.
• Convert data into actionable insights—rapidly iterating on approaches that promote sustained engagement.
• Lead the advancement of Cadence’s engagement framework through automated outreach workflows, trigger-based interventions, and AI-driven prioritization and personalization.
• Design workflows that prioritize high-risk patients, optimize outreach efficiency, ensure consistent, high-quality patient interactions, and include a human touch where necessary.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Clinical, Product, and Partnerships teams to lead and enhance the Engagements function.
• Establish clear performance management linked to retention outcomes rather than solely activity metrics.
• Build a team and operational model that scales with Cadence’s growth.
• 8–10+ years of experience in growth, engagement, or lifecycle marketing leadership, ideally in consumer health or a similarly intricate B2B2C setting.

• Strong cross-functional collaborator: you know how to lead through influence, engage with clinical and product teams, and achieve results in a matrixed environment.
• A company culture focused on impact, shared growth mindset, empowerment, and integrity.
