This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the organizational design and long-term recruitment strategy for the embedded systems team.
• Establish methodologies for creating modular, testable, and hardware-flexible platforms.
• Act as the primary authority on the integration of AI tools throughout the firmware lifecycle.
• Lead the technical collaboration with JDM partners.
• Supervise the firmware strategy for multi-modal perception and sensing capabilities.
• Design a comprehensive roadmap for multi-protocol utilization.
• Oversee the long-term planning for SoC selection.
• Hold ultimate responsibility for fleet-wide OTA delivery and secure boot processes.
• Act as the technical link between firmware, hardware, and clinical teams.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in embedded systems engineering.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of the entire embedded landscape, from MCU-based RTOS to MPU-based Embedded Linux.
• Hands-on experience in implementing AI-driven CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record in managing JDM/ODM partnerships in Asia.
• Advanced expertise in designing and optimizing wireless communication channels.
• Thorough understanding of firmware requirements for mmWave radar, optical sensors, and VoIP/WebRTC audio stacks.
• Mastery of the firmware development lifecycle (SDLC).
