Director of Ecosystem Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Oversee Circle’s market intelligence, brand visibility, and stakeholder engagement while fostering ecosystem growth throughout North Africa.

• Collect market intelligence and enhance Circle’s brand visibility within DeFi, crypto capital markets, payments, remittances, and institutional applications across North Africa.

• Actively identify potential market participants and ecosystem connections; manage and document authentic inbound partnership inquiries without initiating active solicitation.

• Collaborate closely with Commercial and Business Development teams to share market insights.

• Coordinate cross-functional execution with Product, Solutions, Operations, Marketing, Policy, Legal, and Compliance departments.

• Contribute to shaping Circle's regional strategy by developing market intelligence and evaluating sequencing across various countries.

• Assist in engaging with regulators, policymakers, industry organizations, and other key ecosystem stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in business development and market expansion.

• Demonstrated success in driving growth, revenue, or transaction volume within fintech, payments, crypto, or financial infrastructure sectors.

• Proven ability to capture market share by converting existing customers from competing platforms or rails, or by nurturing first movers.

• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on action, execution, and measurable results.

• Experience collaborating across functions with Sales, Business Development, Product, and technical teams to secure and scale complex partnerships.

• In-depth understanding of crypto markets, stablecoins, DeFi, or institutional financial flows.

• Capability to work independently in ambiguous situations while ensuring clear accountability for results.

• Strong executive presence and the ability to engage convincingly with senior commercial, policy, and regulatory stakeholders.

• Familiarity with generative AI models (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.
