• Responsible for the strategy and implementation of the Drug and Occupational Health functions within the organization.
• Tasked with managing and optimizing team utilization for drug and occupational health products among our clientele.
• Serve as a liaison between Third-Party Administrators, Laboratories, Internal Personnel, Clients, and Client Applicants.
• Formulate the company’s strategy for Drug and Occupational Health Services to ensure it aligns with overarching business objectives.
• Collaborate with clients and/or internal teams to ascertain the program’s requirements.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team and engage with prospective and current customers, partners, and internal team members in this capacity.
• Identify and implement new capabilities that provide a competitive edge.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations in Drug and Occupational Health product screenings.
• Track KPIs to oversee operational and vendor performance.
• Present Drug and Occupational Health solutions and improvements to clients, Executive Leadership, and board members as required.
• Develop workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department.
• Manage team performance and productivity within the department, including creating training materials, setting departmental expectations, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Attend relevant conferences and seminars in person to enhance departmental functions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in Drug and Occupational Health, specifically within the background screening industry.
• Advanced knowledge of trends in Drug and Occupational Health.
• Ability to apply that knowledge to develop departmental strategy.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced understanding of Medical Terminology.
• Knowledge of State and Local laws pertaining to drug screening in the workforce.
• Familiarity with Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience managing the expectations of collection sites, laboratories, vendors, and third-party administrators.
• Proven negotiation skills with vendors and third-party administrators.
