Director of Development – Concrete Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Identify and prioritize prospective clients, developers, and market segments.

• Analyze market dynamics, competitive positioning, and cost factors to guide strategic decisions.

• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with owners, developers, architects, and engineers.

• Lead intricate pursuits from initial engagement through to contract execution.

• Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, engineering, and operations teams.

• Ensure accurate tracking, forecasting, and reporting of the project pipeline.

• Present innovative and practical solutions that improve client outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• 10–20 years of experience in the construction industry.

• 5–10+ years in roles focused on business development, preconstruction, or project development.

• Strong expertise in concrete construction or structural systems.
