Director of Construction – Data Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a multidisciplinary project team consisting of construction managers and contractors, while facilitating essential design and construction meetings with external experts and enterprise clients.

• Create and oversee comprehensive capital budgets and project timelines in collaboration with corporate finance, implementing procurement strategies to manage bidding processes, general contractors, and change orders.

• Supervise the integrated testing and commissioning of intricate mechanical, electrical, and IT systems, ensuring that all workflows adhere to thoroughly reviewed Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Assess building codes and NFPA standards to guarantee a safe working environment, while auditing installed components to confirm vendor scope completion and validate design documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in executing critical infrastructure construction projects and engaging with clients in a corporate real estate or military environment.

• Demonstrated expertise in real estate budgeting, accounting, contract negotiation, and managing multiple vendors under stringent deadlines.

• Exceptional cross-functional navigation and communication abilities to influence internal stakeholders, resolve conflicts effectively, and cultivate trusting relationships with executive clients.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Business/Finance (an advanced degree is highly preferred).

• Must be a US Citizen.
