Director of Channel Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of developing and implementing channel sales strategies.

• Foster impactful relationships with partners.

• Regularly achieve ambitious revenue targets.

• Act as the main point of contact to ensure high levels of partner satisfaction and engagement.

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue objectives through partners.

• Create and oversee quarterly and annual business plans with defined revenue goals.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate joint business plans aligned with company objectives.

• Manage and meet assigned sales quotas by enhancing partner performance.

• Monitor partner pipelines and sales activities; provide accurate forecasts and updates to leadership.

• Deliver training and ongoing support to enable partners to effectively market and sell Lightcast solutions.

• Create and present presentations, product demonstrations, and sales materials for partners.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of partner ecosystems, market trends, and buyer behavior.

• Track partner and competitor activities; identify opportunities to enhance Lightcast’s market position.

• Provide market insights to guide product, marketing, and sales strategies.

• Collaborate across functions with sales, marketing, product, engineering, account management, and legal teams.

• Support and engage in joint marketing initiatives and partner events to boost pipeline and brand visibility.

• Monitor and report on partner performance, sales activities, and key metrics.

• Utilize data and insights to continually enhance channel sales effectiveness and partner engagement.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in channel sales or business development, ideally within HR technology.

• Experience with HCM platforms such as Workday and/or SAP SuccessFactors is essential.

• Proven history of meeting or surpassing sales quotas in a channel sales context.

• Experience in managing and expanding a portfolio of channel partners to drive revenue growth.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Proficient in Salesforce and various sales tools to manage partner performance and sales pipeline.

• Self-driven and results-oriented, capable of working independently and collaboratively across teams.
