This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and lead a coaching and capacity-building department within Urban Strategies.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a team of coaches dedicated to supporting Latino congregations and faith-based organizations.
• Advocate for professional development opportunities for staff members.
• Cultivate a culture of learning, reflection, and the sharing of best practices among the team.
• Offer organizational development consultation and coaching services to program participants and other Urban Strategies initiatives.
• Evaluate, design, implement, and assess frameworks, resources, and systems to deliver: Administrative support services such as finance, marketing, and IT; Organizational development consultation; Comprehensive community and organizational development coaching for faith-based leaders and organizations.
• Manage and oversee program operations, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and the organization's mission.
• Collaborate with other Urban Strategies programs to provide cohesive support to congregations and communities.
• Guide the communications and marketing department to effectively promote programs and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders to foster program growth and sustainability.
• Represent the organization at conferences, coalitions, and public events.
• Gather and analyze data to evaluate program outcomes and impact.
• Prepare regular reports for stakeholders detailing program progress and achievements.
• Utilize feedback to drive continuous improvement of the program.
• Ensure timely and accurate grant reporting to program funders and other stakeholders.
• Lead engagement with program proposal partners, offering guidance on proposal development and execution.
• Formulate and implement strategies to guarantee program sustainability.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned related to the program and position within Urban Strategies.
• Master’s degree in organizational leadership or development, business, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• At least 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, faith-based, or community development organizations, with 5+ years focused on organizational coaching and capacity building.
• Demonstrated experience in managing programs and teams effectively.
• In-depth understanding of Hispanic culture, Christian traditions, and holistic community development.
• Exceptional skills in strategic planning, communication, systems orientation, and partnership building.
• Experience in data analysis and applying the theory of change and logic model framework.
• Bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish).
