This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and manage Salvo's health system go-to-market strategy from inception, including defining the target account list, entry strategy, and partnership frameworks.
• Identify and nurture relationships with economic decision-makers within health systems, such as service line leaders, CMOs, VP/SVP of Ambulatory, and population health executives.
• Navigate intricate, multi-stakeholder contracting processes and effectively communicate Salvo's value proposition in terms that resonate with health systems (quality, access, total cost of care).
• Collaborate with clinical, product, and operations teams to ensure that partnerships with health systems are designed for sustainable success.
• Create and enhance materials, case studies, and ROI models that appeal to health system stakeholders.
• Expand and finalize new GI MSO partnerships, leveraging existing connections with United Digestive, Gastro Health, and Allied Digestive.
• Analyze the economic buyer landscape within PE-backed MSO frameworks, identifying key players in contracting decisions and aligning incentives among practice administrators, physician partners, and PE sponsors.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline with accurate forecasting, deal stage management, and consistent progress.
• Accelerate deal cycles with urgency while ensuring the depth of relationships required for GI MSO partnerships.
• Represent Salvo at GI-focused industry events and networks (DHPA, AGA, DDW) to enhance brand visibility and generate deal opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and product teams to refine positioning, create materials, and respond to RFPs.
• Provide market insights on health system trends, competitive dynamics, and partnership models back to executive leadership.
• As Salvo expands, assist in defining the business development team structure and contribute to recruiting and onboarding future business development talent.
• 7-10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales in the healthcare sector, with significant experience working within or selling to health systems.
• In-depth understanding of health system decision-making processes, including budget cycles, clinical operations, value-based care priorities, and the roles of service line leaders versus central administration.
• Proven track record of owning and closing deals—not merely facilitating introductions. You have carried a quota or equivalent responsibility and can discuss your pipeline metrics.
• Experience in GI, specialty care, ambulatory, or related service lines is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the health system and PE-backed MSO landscape: understanding how these organizations are structured, the decision-making processes, and the factors influencing buy, build, or partner strategies.
• Established network in the Midwest, East, or Southeast; you have relationships ready to activate from day one.
• Ability to work with the speed of a startup—compressing timelines, generating momentum, and closing deals independently.
• Strong executive presence and communication abilities; capable of presenting to a C-suite as well as adapting your message for a practice administrator within the same day.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a builder's mindset—you aspire to create the playbook rather than simply follow one.
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• One Medical membership
• 401(k) program
• Emergency childcare
• Commuter benefits
• Generous PTO
