This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Acts as the main relationship manager and business development representative for various high-priority pharmaceutical, biotech, and diagnostic clients/accounts.
• Directs account planning by pinpointing significant growth opportunities for ADVI and establishing an ideal client relationship framework.
• Collaborates on the development of business development and sales strategies across ADVI's products and solutions, executing actions to achieve sales targets.
• Generates new leads within current accounts and collaborates with Business Development and Solution Teams to identify and implement lead generation campaign opportunities.
• Conducts account research, identifies key contacts, engages with prospects, and cultivates interest through timely and consistent outreach to foster long-term relationships.
• Prepares Business Development materials (e.g., outreach emails, pitch presentations, etc.).
• Organizes pursuit and pitch teams; participates in and leads various aspects of the proposal development process; aids in formulating proposal pricing strategies.
• Ensures that CRM systems, such as HubSpot and Salesforce.com, are maintained accurately.
• Represents ADVI and forges relationships with clients and potential clients at events chosen to enhance ADVI's market visibility (e.g., professional conferences).
• Collaborates closely with the Chief Growth Officer and Head of Marketing on sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
• Establishes and maintains connections with key decision-makers at primary client accounts to facilitate buy-in for proposed solutions from senior management levels.
• Proactively identifies client needs based on market trends and suggests solutions to address those needs.
• Contributes to the firm’s visibility and marketing initiatives to support sales objectives.
• Conducts market intelligence to gain insights into key competitors.
• Sets quarterly and annual account goals/metrics to evaluate progress and fulfill sales objectives.
• Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred, but may be substituted with relevant work experience.
• Over 5 years of comprehensive sales experience, including new business development, expanding business with established clients, and account management.
• Professional background in market access, reimbursement, and/or healthcare policy is essential.
• Experience in selling consulting or professional services is required.
• Proficient in utilizing sales analytics and marketing data to recognize patterns and contribute to account planning and follow-up.
• Action-oriented, proactive, and strategic with a strong sense of urgency and the initiative to achieve results by influencing others and fostering relationships in a collaborative team environment.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare issues, life sciences, diagnostics, and the health policy ecosystem.
• Experience supporting accounts and internal stakeholders in a hands-on, high-touch setting.
