📋 Description

• Oversee the strategic goal plan for the designated area.

• Cultivate individual prospects in collaboration with the GPO sellers and manage the sales pipeline from initial identification to closing the sale.

• Coordinate and oversee the national pipeline by partnering with US Foods and GPO sellers.

• Ensure effective communication and education for all field and Rosemont staff to guarantee comprehension of contract elements and service excellence for all GPO members and regional customers assigned to the role.

• Create and implement strategies and tactics aimed at driving results and enhancing customer business relationships by understanding and addressing customer and market strategic needs.

• Formulate and execute strategies and tactics that will drive sales outcomes and fulfill the targeted sales objectives outlined in the GPO agreement.

• Prepare responses for RFPs and participate in customer presentations for key accounts.

• Monitor performance and create action plans to meet planned performance goals.

• Build strong collaborative relationships with the assigned GPO sales team and leadership through regular interactions.

• Establish robust working relationships with field sellers and National Sales Leadership to boost sales results.

• Foster strong customer relationships at both field and corporate levels with key clients.

• Manage pertinent communication and education for field, sales personnel, and Support Office staff to ensure awareness of contract elements and business objectives, facilitating service excellence for the market segment.

• Identify and advocate for organizational alignment and resources to bolster the value proposition and facilitate sales closures, involving ROCs, Finance, Operations, Merchandising, GPO Support teams, and Logistics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

• At least 7 years of experience in foodservice sales is necessary.

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years in successfully managing and developing a team is required.

• Proven experience in positive customer interactions is also required.

• Previous experience in national accounts/healthcare is preferred.

• Experience with large regional or national multi-location chains is highly desired.
