Director – National Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Build, enhance, and strengthen relationships with targeted organizations (such as health insurers, PBMs, and other payers) along with key decision makers and influencers (including pharmacy and medical directors) who impact coverage and reimbursement decisions.

• Effectively influence decision makers, policies, guidelines, and contracts to ensure timely and appropriate coverage, access, and reimbursement for our drug candidates and approved products.

• Create account-specific strategies and assist in resolving access and reimbursement challenges.

• Collaborate closely with the MSL team to enhance communication and understanding of our drug candidates and approved products with payers.

• Work in partnership with the Patient Services team to support the patient journey and address coverage issues.

• Assist Regional Sales teams with strategies for pull-through or sell-through based on payer coverage.

• Represent Tonix at industry events, such as Asembia, AMCP, and other pertinent conferences.

• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, compliance, and ethical behavior in all internal and external interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• An advanced degree (Master’s, Ph.D., or PharmD) is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in biotech/pharma, with a strong understanding of payers.

• Experience with 505b2 products and migraines is essential.

• Must be a subject matter expert in Market Access, including knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefits designs, as well as Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare (both FFS and Managed).

• Government/Federal experience is preferred.
