• Directs the development of innovative professional learning sessions, tools, and frameworks for designated schools and workstreams, ensuring they align closely with the broader organizational systems and priorities.
• Utilizes sound judgment and stakeholder feedback to effectively plan and prioritize essential implementation steps amidst competing tasks or incomplete information.
• Proactively anticipates change, modifies strategies as needed, and addresses misalignments across curriculum, leadership, and professional learning within the designated scope.
• Facilitates high-caliber professional learning and coaching within assigned schools to ensure educators comprehend and can adeptly apply new practices.
• Monitors the fidelity of implementation through data analysis and offers specific guidance to facilitators to uphold quality, accountability, and sustained impact.
• Makes strategic modifications to session delivery or coaching methods when challenges arise, escalating complex issues that require decisions beyond the assigned schools.
• Skillfully navigates ambiguity and unexpected district constraints to keep sessions and coaching on course.
• Develops systems that encourage open reflection, risk-taking, and continuous learning among school-based teams.
• Gathers and analyzes feedback from assigned schools to inform ongoing enhancements in session design, tools, and facilitation frameworks.
• Tests and refines prototyped professional learning tools and sessions within assigned schools to boost educator acceptance and enhance scale readiness.
• Synthesizes patterns and recurring instructional challenges to guide decision-making and influence broader organizational design priorities.
• Tracks the progress of educators and leaders toward annual implementation milestones by proactively monitoring data.
• Evaluates evidence from teacher practices and student learning to make targeted modifications to sessions, coaching, and supports.
• Reports on implementation progress, instructional challenges, and early indicators of student learning improvements to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coaches facilitators and school-based leaders to implement professional learning frameworks with fidelity, confidence, and independence.
• Establishes robust feedback loops, collaborative processes, and routines to enhance team effectiveness and continuous learning.
• Integrates coaching into leadership routines and shares effective practices to bolster implementation capacity across all assigned schools.
• Clearly communicates session goals, progress, and strategic adjustments to align colleagues, school staff, and district partners.
• Anticipates potential points of confusion or misalignment within workstreams and schools, addressing them proactively through effective messaging.
• Consistently exemplifies the organization's core values in all interactions, holding oneself and others accountable to professional standards.
• Over 8 years of experience in designing and facilitating professional learning for teachers, school leaders, and district leaders.
• Extensive knowledge of secondary mathematics, including math content knowledge, math knowledge for teaching, and pedagogical content knowledge essential for modeling high-quality math instruction.
• Thorough understanding of the practices leaders need to enhance teacher instruction and improve student outcomes, including instructional data analysis, promoting instructional coherence, building collective teacher efficacy, and fostering trust.
• Advanced expertise in designing and facilitating connected professional learning and coaching that utilizes adult learning principles, supports curriculum implementation, offers structured reflection opportunities, and nurtures student math identity.
• Strong capability to use data from teachers, leaders, and students to refine professional learning, assisting educators in aligning daily instruction, targeted academic supports, and assessment data to ensure a strong connection between teacher practices and student outcomes.
